I'm not going to lie... one of my favorite looks to wear is the classic,

put-together, almost effortless preppy look. Like last spring, stripes are

everywhere right now. Thank goodness my closet seems to be stocked...

(for the time being). Here's what I'm throwing together, and

I spent most of my time this weekend with Courtney going to yoga, 

shopping in SOHO and eating sushi. I'm looking forward to going to 

Little Rock this weekend. I can't wait to feel warm weather! Thinking 

about being in Arkansas this summer makes me so excited.

It was so nice having today off. It was a easy day filled with english
breakfast tea, yoga and a wedding dress fitting with my step-sister, Jen. 
Awhile back, Jen chose a dress that ironically is made by Carol Hannah, 
(the designer I intern with) and it was pretty exciting seeing Carol Hannah 
in the studio sewing the buttons onto the dress and then to see my sister 
trying it on tonight. Also! I was in Greenwich Village (which is the cutest area 
in NY) and I saw Jennifer Love Hewitt walking!

After a long week of complaining/crying/feeling sorry for myself
over my tiring, unpaid, coffee-filled hours put in at W... I have 
decided to end my pity party and realize how lucky I am. Experiences
like mine come once in a lifetime, and despite some concerns, I'm 
extremely, extremely grateful. Most people don't know that I also 
spend my time in New York interning with Carol Hannah, from 
Project Runway. She shares her bridal studio with Logan (also from her
Project Runway season). Below you can see where I spend my Wednesdays 
in her cute Hell's Kitchen abode. I live in Hell's Kitchen area, which is where 
Court and I have spent most of our weekends over the last month. We have 
been going to yoga in town, enjoying quaint restaurants, and heavenly flea markets. 
Weekends can't get much better than that.

inside W

W has been working me to the bone lately! This past week was insane

because our Fashion Editor, Alex White, was shooting her big editorial. (There

is always one big photo shoot every month for the magazine, so it's 

always a huge deal). I was the only intern chosen to go to the shoot that is

shot at Pier 59 right on the Hudson River. Seeing Laura Stone (big time model)

and being in that atmosphere was pretty amazing. During the past three 

days I have spent 28 hours working at W. Here is a glimpse where I spend 

most my time.

not as cool as the fashion closet because all the jewelry is kept in a safe,
however checking in million dollars pieces is pretty neat/tortuous
